Brooklyn Pickle North

Love the Brooklyn pickle. Used to go to it when he worked in Syracuse. Deli meat is so fresh and tasty. Their sandwiches are huge and shareable. The staff is courteous and quick. The facility is clean and there is a lot of room to sit and eat your lunch. We had a corned beef sandwich on rye with lettuce and tomato, and Russian dressing. Brings back old memories of when I used to get it as a young kid.

Superb Experience! Came with low expectations because it is simply a sandwich spot, left happy and satisfied. I ordered their Classic Pickle Sandwich with a cheese cake and water for about $24. Worth it! The location was clean and spacious. The parking lot is also spacious. The Staff was super friendly and helpful. The portions are generous, I ordered a whole sandwich and was only able to eat half with the cheesecake. There's also outdoor seating. Recommend arriving before noon as it gets packed. Be prepared to spend a minimum of $15.

There's not much I don't love about Brooklyn Pickle especially since I've been going there for years at both W. Genesee St and Burnet Ave. I happened to be out to Cicero one day recently so thought I'd stop by the North eatery. The shop is both spacious inside as well as the parking area. Seating also seemed plentiful. The line of people moved as well here as the other locations and my only complaint on this day was with the young lady who made my sandwich. When I walked to the counter I asked her if they had horseradish mayo and that question seemed to set her off. After that, she acted like I asked her to actually go herd the cow and butcher it in order to make my roast beef sandwich. She never cracked a smile and honestly treated me as if I was bothering her. I've never experienced this in all the years I've been getting my sandwiches here. Even so, the food was good as always but someone should spot check the people behind the counter every so often for the attitudes at this North location.

I finally got to visit the Brooklyn Pickle. The place definitely stood up to the reputation. Somebody told me they had a good Reuben sandwich. It wasn’t on the menu but it was available. It was big and it was really good. The place can get packed during lunch but that’s a good thing, right? I will definitely come back to try more things from this menu.
